I have had some questions about how I started with sculpting:
I stared up as a prop-maker in my 20. But I had a childhood dream to go to hollywood and make monsters. So when I was 27 I said, fuck it, I still want to become a kick ass monster maker. I left Sweden and studied four year in Florence Italy at the American privet school Florence Academy of Art. In my second year I changes my mind, I feel in love with the human form and its beauty. I wanted to become a classic/realistic sculptor. Meanwhile, after my first year I help build up their ecorche class, and for the last three years I was a student teacher in anatomy. 2005 I returned to north Sweden and got in contact with the university, and are now teaching computer graphic designers sculpture, drawing and anatomy. Not full time.I now live on a small island that has a population of nine pp. I love liveing here, you can hear the silence. I take on commission work and sculpt my own creations. Go for your dreams, its not always easy, but it will fill your life and take you places you never thought of. JimtheGent
